We provide all of our sales trainees with experienced mentors who support them as they embark on their career path. We put great emphasis on preparing everyone individually and honing their skills for the challenging tasks they will be facing in sales. The comprehensive teaching at our inhouse HR Academy merges seamlessly with the real-life expertise that is passed on by our sales professionals.

Do you have a university degree or some initial sales and marketing experience?

There are a number of entry routes for the CHG-MERIDIAN trainee program. Some trainees gain initial experience while writing their dissertation at CHG-MERIDIAN, others join the company with some commercial experience after completing their vocational training elsewhere. Our mentoring system takes account of your professional background and provides you with individual guidance. One step at a time, you’ll be learning from more experienced colleagues during actual customer meetings, but you’ll also get the chance to try your own hand early on. We are very keen for you to start actively participating in the sales process as soon as possible, to allow you to gain plenty of practical experience during the two-year training program.

Teamwork on the trainee program

Our trainee program is based on teamwork and dialog between trainees and experts within the company. Within the Sales department, we are determined to involve you as closely as possible in our day-to-day work, and to let you participate in real projects. You will also be asked to complete your own projects based on fictitious case studies, and present them to senior management. This will provide you with useful feedback through direct contact. But there’s still enough time for everyone to have fun together. The rewards include company events, where you might just end up go-carting with the Board of Management.

We operate internationally. And so do our trainees.

As an international company, we need our trainees to be ready to perform on the international stage, and to gain experience abroad. During your training as a sales professional you will therefore be carrying out some projects abroad, facing the specific challenges posed by the different requirements of our international branches and their customers.
